Poonam, 9, is standing inside her old home, where she lived until June 2011, on the day Alex and the young girl have met again, after his image of her, sitting under the heavy rain, was granted 5000 US dollars by 'The Photographers Giving Back Awards', in Sweden, destined towards her wellbeing, in Oriya Basti, one of the water-contaminated colonies in Bhopal, central India, near the abandoned Union Carbide (now DOW Chemical) industrial complex, site of the infamous '1984 Gas Disaster'.
