Nazifah, a 48-year-old widow, is holding Wahidullah's hand, her 5-year-old disabled grandson while Najibullah, 3, (Right) is standing in the back, inside the cave where they now live since six years in Bamyan, central Afghanistan, an area mostly populated by Hazaras. A historically persecuted minority (15%) due to more lenient Islamic faith and characteristic 'Eastern' lineaments, Hazaras constitute the 70% of Bamyan's population.
