A window on the early and present life of former child prodigy Shafiq Sayd, now 34, who starred in the 1988 Cannes Camera D' Or award winning movie 'Salaam Bombay', and the future ahead of the new Indian child stars Azharuddin Ismail, 10, and Rubina Ali, 9 from 'Slumdog Millionaire'(2008).

The two received large media attention when it was discovered that they still lived along with their families in a slum near Bandra train station, in Mumbai. After many promises by the filmmakers and the Indian Government, eight months from the magical Oscar night, Azharuddin has moved out of the slum to a new house bought by the trust set up to care for them, while Rubina and her family are expecting to soon receive one too. The children's education will also be taken care of.

Will such a happy ending to this fairytale make us all forget about the faith of raising stars Azhar and Rubina too?
